Ron Paul Blasts Obama's Economic Fascism

As CNN's Tony Harris makes a pathetic attempt to censor him...

(Video running time: 4m:47s)

In response to Barak Obama's latest speech on the economy, Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX) once again breaks down the cold, hard facts for us. In this interview, Dr. Paul suggests that while Obama may not be to blame for the current crisis he is certainly prolonging it by massively increasing government spending. The always outspoken congressman also points out that Obama's current economic policy is leading towards a type of business-government partnership, which is otherwise known as corporate fascism. Reacting to this, the media whore, Tony Harris, immediately tries to censor Dr. Paul, suggesting that his use of "that word" is irresponsible.

Well, i have some news for Mr. Harris. Ron Paul was elected by the citizens of his Texas district to represent them and to speak on their behalf. He has been re-elected repeatedly because his constituents agree with what he says and how he says it. You, on the other hand, are a member of the press and are meant to be engaging in the exercise of the First Amendment. You have absolutely no right to tell a U.S. congressman what he should or shouldn't be saying. On the contrary, you have a duty to provide the platform for him to say it - uncensored and unclouded by your personal opinions. It seems, Mr. Harris, that just like Obama on the economy, you have got it completely ass-backwards.

I think his record speaks for itself. He is a 10-term congressman and a strict adherent of the U.S. Constitution. You can check out his voting record here - http://www.votesmart.org/voting_category.php?can_id=296 - and decide for yourself.
